Thanksgiving 2011

In addition to eating this Thanksgiving we've been busy enjoying the beautiful weather outside. We hiked up Sugarloaf Mountain on Thanksgiving Day, and the kids followed it up with a Turkey Bowl on Saturday.

Labor Day Weekend - Busch Gardens and Beach

We hit both Busch Gardens and the beach this past weekend. The kids had a blast and were able to: Visit Europe (Connor was very excited to be in different "countries" at Busch Gardens);

Make some new friends;

Go on lots of rides;

Play in the waves;
Run from the waves; Learn to play paddle ball;
And learn to surf!
We had a great end to summer ;)

Beach

We haven't been able to make it to the beach as much as we would have liked to this summer, but the kids and I were able to go for a couple days and had a great time. We celebrated Owen's birthday party at the waterslides, ate lots of ice cream, played in the waves, went to Funland and the Carousel, went for a boat ride, swam in the bay, and Kieran and I even went tubing - a first time for both of us!

Ballet Recital

Kieran had her first ballet recital today, and she was so excited for her performance. I've never been a big fan of tulle, but her costume was pretty darn cute.

Afterwards, she celebrated by giving her friend Madeline a big hug - on stage.
